Ticket to Sydney is an audiovisual exploration of a specific incident – the loss of an archive. Through the use of found footage, animation, live action and illustration, this film attempts to visualise and contextualise a formative event in the life of a mostly-forgotten pioneer in British musical history, Basil Kirchin.
